Welcome to Year 6's Class Page!

Happy Term 5!

I would like to say a huge well done to all that Year 6 have acheived already this year.  Term 5 will bring new challenges which I know that we are ready to face together.  It will be the toughest term yet, but all the hard work will be worth it!

Mrs Dewar will be our Teaching Assistant, working in Year 6 each morning.  Mrs Griffin will teach the class on a Friday to allow me to catch up on paperwork and other Assistant Head responsibilities.  .

PE Lessons will be on a Wednesday, led by myself.  Please don't forget your kit!  It would be really helpful if the children had at least their trainers in school everyday.  This helps us to be a little more flexible with our Year 6 timetable; this is especially helpful in between revision sessions.

Please see below the class newsletter for this term.  It includes an overview of our core learning for this term, targets we are aiming for and suggested activities that could be completed at home.

The spellings for the term are also attached below.  The list will be given on a Monday and tested on a Thursday.  We are revising the final parts of the Year 6 spelling rules.  Also, keep an eye out for homework handed out each Thursday.  This will be essential for SATs preparation.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to come and see me.

Mrs Gullen :)
